The GraduateCenter^LMU is only the contact point for matters relating to doctoral studies. We do not respond to inquiries regarding bachelor's and master's degree programs.

If you are interested in pursuing a doctorate at LMU, please first read the information for prospective doctoral candidates.

• Written inquiry: Please contact us exclusively via the contact form, do not send us any attachments, and make your inquiry as specific as possible.

• Consultation hours: We are generally available by phone (+49 (0)89 / 2180-9731) on Tuesdays between 10 and 11 a.m. No prior appointment is necessary. If consultation hours are canceled, a notice will be posted on this page.

Doctoral candidates at LMU can seek individual advice on doctoral studies at LMU from the GraduateCenter^LMU. The focus is on non subject-specific issues of a doctorate.

• Individually arranged appointments: We offer individually arranged consultation appointments and coaching for doctoral researchers at LMU. Please use our contact form to arrange an appointment. Possible consultation or coaching topics include:
  • Time and self-management
  • Challenges related to supervision
  • Preparation for difficult conversations
  • Dealing with demanding or conflictual situations
  • Developing vistas for professional and personal perspectives (change/career coaching)

Consultation hours and coaching sessions take place in a confidential setting, and discretion is of course guaranteed. GraduateCenter^LMU team members are qualified systemic consultants.
